MWA was proud and humbled to do our part for the on-going COVID-19 pandemic by donating our time and muscle at the Maryland Food Bank on Friday, August 14.
Some of the team members worked in the kitchen cutting and bagging vegetables and fruits and preparing “box” lunches, while other team members worked in the warehouse filling boxes with non-perishable food. The lunches and food boxes are shipped to many locations throughout the State of Maryland to feed children and seniors, and those who are in need of food.
We considered ourselves fortunate to be able to help, especially as there are many people currently struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic.
