As we all continue to live with the effects of the pandemic, MWA was proud once again to donate our time and muscle to another organization that is helping to feed those who are in need. On Friday, October 23, we volunteered at First Fruits Farm in Freeland, Maryland (http://firstfruitsfarm.org).
First Fruits Farm is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious produce to those experiencing hunger in the mid-Atlantic region. We helped to bag a large harvest of potatoes which are sent to local food banks, homeless shelters, soup kitchens and other food providers.
We hope that by giving our time to this effort that it does offer help and hope to less fortunate than we are.
